No two people experience trauma in the same way and that means healing should never be one-size-fits-all. At Roots & Juniper Psychology, therapy is tailored to meet you exactly where you are. I work from a trauma-informed, evidence-based perspective, but I also know that the most meaningful progress happens when you feel seen, safe and supported as a whole person.
This isn’t just about symptom management it’s about helping you understand your patterns, reconnect with your inner self and build the kind of life that feels true to you. It is about more than healing. It is about empowerment, transformation and anchoring clients to their core selves so they can face life’s challenges with steady growth and clarity.
If you’ve experienced childhood neglect, sexualized trauma or carry the weight of wounds that were never healed I want you to know you’re not alone here.
I work with adults who are navigating the lasting impacts of trauma, often in the form of anxiety, difficulty in relationships, challenges with self-worth or a feeling of being disconnected from themselves.
Whether you’re just starting to explore your story or you’ve been on this journey for a while, I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach is compassionate, steady and focused on helping you reconnect with your inner strength. I believe healing is possible and not just healing, but growth, clarity and a deeper sense of who you are.
Healing isn’t linear, and growth looks different for everyone. I’m here to gently support and guide you as you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want.
You’ll be met with care, not judgment. My priority is creating an environment where you feel safe enough to show up fully - no matter how messy, complicated or uncertain things feel.
Your story is your own, and your therapy should reflect that. I tailor each session to your needs, using evidence-based approaches that honour your pace, your goals and your lived experience.
